MATRIX IS TOOL FREE 
You won't need to use keys any longer to set up your Matrix Sled.
When you work, it's required a good operating speed.
The possibility to make slight movements is essential. The use of an exclusive locking levers system and knobs with an ergonomic handle guarantee speed, accuracy and reliability.
1.5" CARBON TELESCOPIC POST (40mm) - Tool-free
First rate carbon telescopic post with a 40mm diameter to ensure a great strenght and a great lightness as well.
ULTRA-FLUID AND TOOL-FREE PROFESSIONAL GIMBAL
The gimbal, as well as being surprisingly fluid, has got an innovative locking clamp, able to minimize the force necessary for the fastening.
SMARTHEAD
Solutions arise from needs. Smarthead allows the operator to disconnect integrally the sled's head and create new configurations. Thanks to this technology, you can keep your sled up to date and prepared to accommodate the future releases by SmartSystem. Furthermore you can realize a customized head, according to your specific needs.
MONITOR RODS KIT
First rate carbon rods kit. Apart from adjusting the distance between the monitor and the post and its position, you can also tilt it on.
To guarantee an excellent level of stiffness at any angles, it's provided with an INDEXED articulation system. There won't be the slightest rotation of the monitor holder even in the worst working conditions.
SIDE OR STANDARD LCD?
Matrix Sled can accommodate not only the new width-adjustable stand, specifically designed for the most common LCD monitors on the market, but also our well-tested monitor holder, able to properly tighten any monitor with a 1/4" lock.

Also SmartPACK has an indexed system for adjusting the battery pack inclination. Extreme strenght and safety is guaranteed, even with the heaviest batteries.
C-BATTERY KIT
Matrix, like any other SmartSystem sled, is modular. According to your needs, you can install or completely remove the C-BATTERY KIT.
Along with SmartPack, the third battery will let you further extend the usability of the sled MATRIX.
This one can either operate entirely independently thanks to its 12V output compatible with professional ringed DC jack plug or interact with the SmartPACK.
C-BATTERY also offers the possibility to install additional small weights in case of heavy cameras.
Steadycam operators know that, with the release of new compact LCDs and the use of lithium ion batteries, the weight to be supported has significantly been reduced, with two fundamental and conflicting consequences:
Yet, the lengthening of the post is not always the best solution because it increases the camera overall dimensions.
The C-BATTERY KIT will allow you to install up to 10 counterbalances able to rebalance also the heaviest cameras.
If you use lighter cameras, C-Battery can be quickly removed from Matrix Sled.
This solution has proven to be winning, especially in case of rented equipment.
HIGH QUALITY CONNECTORS
From the original Neutrik XLR to the BNC connector with gold plated contacts, the power and the video signal (Full-HD-HD-SDI) are guaranteed by the absence of any Insertion Loss.
LEMO® - FISCHER®
Our main target: easyness and quickness. Often, the worst enemies of a steadicam operator are the cables themselves.
The standard connectors used on our sleds are strong, easy to find and, above all, have excellent electrical features.
To all those who have an equipment already provided with Fischer® or Lemo® connectors, it'll be possible to use their own cables and connect this equipment to our Sled Matrix, thanks to the innovative SmartBOX (coming soon).
